Martin Percy, its writer/director, tells the story of Lifesaver – and shows how to use its approach to tell life-saving stories of your own.

Martin Percy directs interactive films – and only interactive films. Doing this, he’s won four Webbys (including for best interactive video), a Grand Clio, three Emmy nominations, and three BAFTA British Academy Award nominations. He’s worked for institutions including Tate Modern, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, the British Film Institute and the National Theatre. And he’s worked with people including Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Derek Jacobi, Gordon Ramsay, Malcolm McDowell – and most recently, “unknown new Star Wars star” Daisy Ridley in Lifesaver.
