Get Involved

Are you ready to become a part of a rising current of ideas, events and initiatives that could push the world in a positive direction? We want you with us, as a volunteer, participant, speaker, sponsor—or all of the above. Where you fit along that continuum of commitment naturally depends on your energy, passions and resources. Think about that, and then convince us why we should take you on board.

To get started, choose the most appropriate category below, and tell us a little about yourself and what you’d like to do using the links provided. We’re waiting to hear from you.

Volunteers

TEDxTokyo is powered by a growing team of dedicated volunteers. If you’d like to be one of them, please complete the profile registration form, and tell us a little about yourself and how you can contribute to the event. We will get in touch with you shortly afterwards. Here are a couple of specific areas to consider:

Planning

If you’re interested in helping us plan upcoming programs, initiatives and activities, please complete the profile registration form.

Translation

We have a core group of specialists that provides Japanese subtitles for TEDTalks videos. If you can help us with that, or can recommend translators willing to do the same, please complete the profile registration form with your contact and background details.

Participants

The TEDxTokyo phenomenon is an open-ended affair, with events and programs like our annual conference in May. We want you there with us, so please take a few minutes to send an email to participate@tedxtokyo.com describing why you’d love to get involved. Hint: passion and purpose count for a lot.

Sponsors

TEDxTokyo is looking for a select group of companies committed to supporting the power of ideas. You can find out more about how your organization can get involved here, or contact us directly at sponsor@tedxtokyo.com.

Media

Interested in covering TEDxTokyo events? Please send a request including your name, media affiliation(s) and proposed areas of coverage to media@tedxtokyo.com.
